We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of data privacy and security, strictly complying with Google Play Developer Policies, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and other applicable global privacy frameworks.
1. Information We Collect and How We Use It
To provide our tamper-proof media verification and forensic report generation, the App requires access to specific sensitive data types. This data is collected and processed only with your explicit permission.
- Camera Data: The App requires access to your device's camera to capture real-time photos and videos. This media is securely transmitted to our backend server for automated analysis (including Moiré pattern and screen-capture detection). We do not store your original images on our servers after the verification process is complete unless explicitly requested by you.
- Precise Location Data (GPS): The App collects precise location data (GPS coordinates) at the exact moment a photo is taken to embed geographic proof into the forensic report. This data is processed locally and via our server to generate the report.
- Time and Date Data: The App syncs with independent Network Time Protocol (NTP) servers and GPS satellites to capture accurate atomic time. This is used solely to establish a verified timestamp.
- Device and Sensor Information: We may collect hardware-specific data (such as gyroscope, compass orientation, and OS version) to verify the physical integrity of the capture environment and prevent software spoofing.
2. Data Processing, Storage, and Retention
- Server-Side Processing: All cryptographic hashing (SHA-256) and frequency analysis (FFT) are performed securely on our servers.
- No Long-Term Tracking: We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data, location history, or captured media to third parties or advertising networks.
- Data Retention: The verified PDF reports and associated hashes are stored locally on your device. Any transient data processed on our servers for the verification check is deleted immediately after the validation score is returned to the App, unless you utilize our cloud-saving feature.
3. Permissions Declarations (Google Play Policy Compliance)
In accordance with Google Play’s Prominent Disclosure requirements, the App will explicitly ask for:
- ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION & ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION (for forensic location stamping).
- CAMERA (for secure media capture).
These permissions are vital to the App's core functionality. If denied, the App cannot generate certified tamper-proof reports.
4. Third-Party Services
We may use trusted open-source libraries and secure cloud infrastructure providers (such as hosting platforms) to run our verification algorithms. These third parties only process data according to our strict instructions and are bound by confidentiality agreements. We do not integrate third-party ad networks or user-tracking SDKs.
5. Data Security
We implement robust technical and organizational security measures, including HTTPS encryption (SSL/TLS) for all data in transit, secure Android Keystore hardware attestation, and restricted server access to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration.
6. Children’s Privacy
Our App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, we will delete it immediately.
